Too small for a regular 2 year oldJun 16, 2011
By RL I bought this one for my 2 year old as a napping mat in daycare. The reason I chose this one is due to 100% cotton. But when I received this item, I was quite disappointed to found that it was way too narrow and short. My daughter only can only lie in the middle without turning, otherwise she will be out of the mat. And the pillow is ridiculously high compared with the super thin mat itself! I strongly suggest you not buy this one.

Great idea but zipper broke alreadyApr 15, 2012
By Space Chick I bought these for my two sons to use for naptime at preschool. They work wonderfully for that, and are easy to wash. Love that the pillow is removable so you can just throw the blanket in the washer and dryer. However... we have only had these for about 3 months, and the cheapo plastic zipper for the pillow compartment separated and broke. Really bad quality in this one area. I hate that I'm having to replace this after only 3 months of use.

You are renting this day-care napping blanket.Apr 18, 2012
By Christine Napolitano This product is cute and a great idea, but I am on my third one and my child is three. The zipper keeps breaking even though I don't put it in the dryer. It's perfect for nap time at day care. I wish it would last longer than 6 months, but it's $20 bucks, so I just buy a new one every time the zipper breaks.
Perfect for cots at daycareMay 08, 2012
By hilaryt My son needed a pillow at daycare for the cot he was transitioning to; that's how it started. Then I decided he needed something between him and the cot he was sleeping on, for comfort and cleanliness reasons.
Here's a few of the criteria I used when picking out his nap mat:
- Since they are on cots, I didn't feel that he needed a lot of cushion, just some - I wanted something with an attached pillow and blanket. The pillow was the point of this whole thing, but I wanted it attached so that it wouldn't get separated - I wanted something with a removable pillow, so it didn't get destroyed in the wash - Preferred something that allowed his feet to breathe, so it wasn't a sleeping bag - Not costly; I expect to have to replace this at least once a year. Cause he's a boy, in daycare.
So I started searching for a nap mat, and discovered this gem which is perfect for our uses. He now sleeps 2-1/2 to 3 hours daily on it, and he loves it! (As do a lot of the other kids, the teachers told us. They liked to try and climb on his cot when it's out)
I read the other reviews, and I decided if care is taken with the zipper, this is perfect. One month in, so far, so good!
On Mondays, we bring it in all washed, and we roll up his extra blanket (soon to be removed since it's getting warm out!) and we roll up his security blanket in it too. It's so convenient to carry all his stuff in now. It has a handle and an area to write in his name.
For reference: My son is 16 months old and 21 or so pounds. He's small for his age, but I see plenty of room to grow. The blanket is large, about twice the width of the actual bottom mat part.
We are happy with our purchase!
My son loves it!! but...Apr 11, 2012
By Katie The padding where you lay down isnt very thick. The pillow is very comfy but needs to be thinned down a little bit. My 12 month old loves it though, and will use it at the babysitters for naps instead of a pack n play.
